When building, it is really useful to have a good mastery of camera controls. There’s a detailed tutorial here:

In the meantime, here is my offering. There is an illustrated tutorial below this plain print version.
To control your camera you can use either the palette on your screen, or shortcut keys (basically Alt and Ctrl)
USING THE PALETTE
The controls on the left side rotate the camera all around your build from every angle. In the middle is a bar you use for zooming in and out of your build. The controls on the right side pan the camera up, down, left and right.
You can toggle these controls on and off by going to the toolbar on the top of your screen. Choose View, and half way down you will see Camera Controls. You check or uncheck this, depending on whether you want the controls on your screen or not.
USING KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
This is arguably the better way to control your camera. I’m not typing it all out here, as it appears as part of the illustrated tutorial. (Even though this bit isn’t illustrated LOL)
